Junior Courses

New Term starting on Monday the 16th of April.

13 week term which will end on the 22nd of July. No session during May half term.

Lessons will be taken by a fully qualified L.T.A. tennis coach. Tennis coaches are C.R.B. checked and are fully licensed.

All the basic tennis shots practiced into a game situation with each session building from the last. More advanced groups will learn more tactical situations. All equipment provided (rackets supplied if needed), although own racket is recommended for personal development. Matches/assessments will be done every 4 weeks.

The coaching programme caters for all abilities including; Beginner’s, Improver’s, Intermediate and Advanced.

Cardio Tennis

  • A fun workout on the tennis court where you hit lots of tennis balls available for all standards.

Beginner Course

  • To those who have little to no experience of playing tennis or for those who need to wipe dust of the racket.

Tuesdays             7.00pm – 8.00pm 6 weeks starting on the 12th of June

Improver Classes

  • You can rally and understand the basic shots in tennis, need to fine tune your technique and apply the tactics.

Saturdays    4.00pm – 5.00pm

Fun Fitness Cardio Tennis Sessions

Cardio Tennis is a fun group activity for anyone at any playing level looking for a fun way to burn calories & interact with others outside of the gym.

Cardio Tennis is a high energy fitness activity that combines the best features of the sport of tennis with cardiovascular exercise, delivering the ultimate, full body, calorie burning aerobic workout.

Cardio tennis

Cardio Tennis has slowly become known as the “third way to play tennis,” rather than the traditional singles and doubles matches. Classes are geared towards keeping players in their target heart-rate zone so they can burn the most calories and get the best workout possible in the hour long sessions. Men can burn between 500-600 calories in one class, whereas women can burn between 300 and 500 calories. Rather than being about “playing” tennis, its more about training and the great cardiovascular workout the program provides.
